Hey! I’m Anna.

I received both my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the PNW and have called the mountains home ever since.

Outside of work, I have a varied history of playing volleyball, basketball, and track, as well as weight lifting, yoga, hiking, road and mountain biking, mountaineering, and nordic skiing.

I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with a diverse population in outpatient orthopedics. My treatment plans are goal-oriented, and I integrate a range of evidence-based treatment approaches in order to efficiently reach those goals. From resilience-building exercises and restoring functional movement patterns to education and occasional manual therapy techniques, my comprehensive care goes beyond symptom management. My experience ranges from treating shoulders, hips, knees, low back, ankles, and everything in between.

I understand that your physical, emotional, and mental health are interconnected. My treatment approach is compassionate, and informed by modalities such as the bio-psycho-social model, and Health At Every Size (HAES®). I recognize the power of language and strive to create a safe, empowering, and body-positive space where you are encouraged and motivated to achieve your goals. Rather than pointing out flaws and limitations, I emphasize building upon your strengths and exploring new movement possibilities.

I believe that you should be an active participant in your own rehabilitation process. Open communication and shared decision-making are at the core of my practice. Each treatment plan is personalized to align with your unique goals, preferences, and capabilities. I will be your trusted guide, providing the support and guidance you need to achieve lasting results.

I also feel that it’s important that we don’t take ourselves too seriously in life, and we embrace whatever chapter of life we are in with compassion and grace. Let’s make this process fun!
